Happy Holidays from the Aikido of Fairfield County Family!

December 15 Holiday Gathering of Aikido of Fairfield County at Sensei Ray and Margaret’s house! Happy holidays to all!

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved master teacher, Yoshimitsu Yamada Sensei.
Yamada Sensei died peacefully on Sunday, January 15, 2023.

In 1964 Yamada Sensei established the New York Aikikai in NYC that has now grown into a worldwide aikido practice.

He'll be greatly missed.

Given the situation with the spread of the coronavirus and the level of contact in aikido classes Sensei Ray Farinato has decided to cancel all aikido classes for the rest of this month. Near the end of this month we’ll re-evaluate the situation and communicate any decision with you all the members and practitioners at Aikido fo Fairfield County..
