As always, we had so much fun walking in the Grand Parade of Horses for Festival of the Horse! 🐴

This was our 3rd year walking in it and each year our group keeps getting bigger and better! We’re so thankful for all our students and their families! 💛 They’re truly the best!!

Our students look forward to this every year and we can’t wait to keep this going!! Watching them have so much fun makes everything worth it!!

LESSON PROGRAM PACKAGES

Consistency. Confidence. Progress.

Our lesson program is designed to provide riders with consistent weekly instruction while developing strong horsemanship, confidence, and riding skills. Whether you're building a foundation or working toward the competition pen, each lesson is tailored to the individual rider and their goals.

🐎 WEEKLY LESSON PACKAGE
4 lessons per month • 1 lesson per week
*Save $20 per month by purchasing our lesson packages*

BASIC RIDING
$180 / month
Includes four weekly lessons focused on:
- Riding fundamentals & proper position
- Balance, control & communication
- Steering, transitions & stopping
- Horsemanship & confidence
- Building a strong foundation for future progression

BARREL RACING
$240 / month
Includes four weekly lessons focused on:
- Barrel pattern fundamentals
- Correct turns & body position
- Rate, speed control & timing
- Improving consistency and efficiency
- Competition preparation
- Developing a confident, competitive rider

🌧️ WEATHER POLICY
- Lessons are not cancelled due to weather.
- If weather or arena conditions make it unsafe or impractical to ride, the scheduled lesson will become a ground lesson.

Ground lessons may include:
- Horsemanship
- Barrel racing theory & strategy
- Pattern analysis
- Video review
- Tack & equipment education
- Horse care
- Competition preparation
- Goal setting & rider development

Your scheduled lesson time is still reserved and valuable—even when we aren't in the saddle.

📅 SCHEDULING & CANCELLATION POLICY
Because each rider's lesson time is reserved specifically for them, consistency and communication are extremely important.
- 24-HOUR NOTICE IS REQUIRED for cancellations or requests to reschedule.
- Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice will result in the lesson being forfeited.
- No-shows will forfeit the scheduled lesson.
- If the instructor needs to cancel, the lesson will be rescheduled.
- Weather-related changes to riding conditions do not count as a cancellation. A ground lesson will take place instead.
- The same cancellation policy applies to ground lessons.
- Monthly packages are non-refundable once the month has begun.
- Lessons should be used within the month purchased unless otherwise approved by the instructor.
- Payment is due at the beginning of each month in order to reserve the rider's weekly lesson time.

A small moment… with a big meaning.

Today I was mowing our newest wildflower meadow when I had to stop—not once, but several times—as Bobwhite Quail kept appearing from the grass.

For us, this is more than just seeing a beautiful bird.

Over the past several years we’ve planted native wildflower meadows, restored habitat, and intentionally let parts of our pastures grow a little longer between cuttings to give ground-nesting birds a chance to raise their young.

Seeing these quail using the habitat we’ve worked so hard to create is one of those quiet reminders that conservation takes time… but it’s worth it.

Sometimes success isn’t measured in acres planted or projects completed—it’s measured by the wildlife that decides to call your land home.

This is exactly why we do it. 🌾🐦

Congrats Emersyn and Avery!! Making us proud!!

Congrats to two of our girls, Emersyn and Avery for winning buckles last night out in Wilmore!

These girls have been killing it this summer! Coach had to miss last nights barrel race but they sure made me proud! Huge thank you to everyone who helped out last night and stepped up to make sure everyone was good to go being that I wasn’t there! We sure do have an amazing group people! 🧡

We had another great week of camp!!

Even with some rain, the kids still got to ride every day! They even rode ba****ck a few times and once again made yoga on the horses look way too easy! 😂

We got a trail ride in on Wednesday, forgot to take pictures because we were having so much fun! They made pool noodle horses and had a race at the end of camp! We went swimming in the pond almost every day! They also got to paint picture frames and take a picture with their favorite horse from camp to put in the frame! And then on Friday morning, one of the parents brought Dunkin’ Donuts for everyone!

I think it’s safe to say that all the kids had a great week when they kept asking if they could come back every day this summer 💛

We have 3 more camps left!! And only a few spots left in our July camps!

Our team had a great night in Wilmore at K Bar C Ranch for another barrel race this past Thursday night!

I can’t even begin to describe how proud I am of all my students! They put in so much hard work for this sport and it’s the best feeling to see all the hard work start paying off! We had one of our youth riders place 1st in the 3D pulling yet another check! Last week she pulled a check along with winning her first ever BUCKLE!! We also had another youth rider place 1st in the 4D bringing home a check as well!! To make the night even better we had multiple PR’s!

This team is truly amazing with how they all support one another, celebrate each others success and wins, and push each other!

I am so blessed to be able to coach such a great group of riders! And I can’t wait to see how the rest of this season goes for all of them! 🧡
