Time for this year's successful hunt show and tell post! We have had quite a few people send pictures of their successful harvests so far. But I never share them online without permission. If you're okay with posting your picture, I would like to have a place where they're all together, with any details you would care to share on them including area of the harvest, what bait your bears preferred, and live and/or field dressed weight. So go ahead, add those pictures with details in the comments here! 📷

Thank you all so very much!!! It's been a great birthday. First, a special friend dropped off a hot coffee and flowers to start my work day. Stock Boy picked me up a bottle of Woodford Reserve. We took care of the customers who needed bait today and then my daughters and I headed to Tawas for a walk at the State Park and a meal. Next the hubby and I got drinks and dinner at the casino. Finally a cocktail and a quiet evening watching a TV show.
I still have to read and answer all of your birthday wishes, I will tomorrow. But in the meantime, thank you 💕✨️🥃

Slowing down today ment we had time to fit in a long overdue haircut! Stock Boy had bet someone would pull in halfway through the cut. He was wrong, we actually made it exactly to the end before a customer came down the road. Perfect timing! Who knows what a new customer would have thought, stopping in while I'm giving Curt a trim 🤔😆
And no criticizing my skills, I am not a professional barber, just a wife with a set of clippers! 😅 💇‍♂️

Open until 3 today and 12-3 Sunday.

Just a few more late nights of blending left for the season! Then Stock Boy can finally get a little rest. For now we'll stay busy keeping the stacks of bagged bait ready to go.

Happy Friday morning! Does anyone have fun plans for the weekend? Yours might be a little more interesting than mine and the husband's. We will be here until at least 10:30 tonight mixing bait to feed the bear. And while we're at it, how about a little celebrating my birthday weekend (it's Sunday)😁 If I have to work through it we might as well have a bit of fun while we work. ✨️

It's almost time! Seasons start to open in Michigan over the next few days and hopefully everyone is getting activity at their bait sites. We've seen so many of our customers walk in over the past few days saying, "I just need a few more things to tie me over." They are getting excited to see all their hard work of baiting pay off with a filled tag.
And don't worry, we are here with a good inventory of feed to keep the bear coming in. Whether it be for a hunt in the lower Peninsula, or for a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd season hot in the UP, we've got you.
Business hours, while cut after the 20th, will continue through October 10th. After that, or on days when we are closed, we are by appointment if given a heads up.
