The annual 8th Penn State Sports Business Conference was a major success! 📈

We put on a two-day networking and speaking event last week with some major highlights! ⤵️

Starting off, we hosted over 600 students, administrators, and staff, all within two days. We also raised almost $9,000 in gross ticket sales from days 1 and 2. This was our most sold tickets yet, we are so proud to have put on such an amazing experience for so many students.

Day 1 was held at The Scholar for our networking event, which included professional companies. We also welcomed back many of our amazing alumni, currently working in sports, to come and network with students looking to break into the industry!

Day 2, we held our speakers series at The Nittany Lion Inn. We had an incredible lineup of speakers this year. From our opening keynote, Howie Roseman, 2x World ChampionGM/EVP, to our closing keynote, Tom Rinaldi, Journalist/Sideline reporter for FOX Sports, our students got to hear from the best in the business. 💡

Many different breakouts took place throughout the entire day. Students heard about the Business of Being an NFL agent to hearing insight from Coach James Franklin, GM Andy Frank, and Kenny Sanders. Students were educated on the world of partnerships and how data plays a vital role in sports. And finally, we had some inspiring women talk about what it means to be a woman in sports leadership. 👏

We want to say a special thank you to everyone who attended this amazing conference and to everyone who worked all year to put it on. We look forward to putting on another successful event next year! Year 9 🔜
