The club was founded so runners wouldn't have to run by themselves and also to give runners a chance to compete on the college level without the stress of being on an NCAA Varsity team. This weekend, Penn State Club XC traveled to East Lansing, Michigan to compete in 2017 NIRCA Nationals, and we performed in stunning fashion with a 2nd place finish from both our Womenâs and Menâs teams in the Championship races! We had some standout races from all of our teammates, especially from Matt Pennockâs 1st & Sam Lappâs 2nd in Menâs Jr/Sr/Grad, Katelyn Hancockâs 3rd in Womenâs Jr/Sr/Grad, Joseph Clarkâs 7th & Matthew Beyerleâs 14th in Menâs Champs, Suz Steinâs 2nd & Baylee Robeyâs 5th in Womenâs Champ, Matt Baloghâs 1st in Menâs Fr/So, and Hannah Flammeâs 4th in Womenâs Fr/So.... and many more :D Congrats to everyone and thank you to NIRCA for a great event!
