Boris Natenzon is a respected healthcare leader, entrepreneur, and community advocate whose career has been dedicated to improving access to quality care throughout New York City and beyond. As Founder and CEO of Enexia Specialty and Enexia LTC, Boris has spent more than two decades transforming the pharmacy industry through innovation, compassionate service, and an unwavering commitment to patient well-being.

A graduate of the Arnold & Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences at Long Island University, Boris began his career with CVS Pharmacy, where he quickly rose to Regional Manager, overseeing 32 pharmacy departments across the tri-state area. In 2002, he founded Enexia Specialty and Enexia LTC, which has grown into one of New York’s largest independent pharmacy organizations, serving communities through multiple locations and employing more than 200 healthcare professionals.

Throughout his career, Boris has been a pioneer in pharmacy care. Under his leadership, Enexia became the first pharmacy in New York City to receive accreditation from the Pharmacy Compounding Accreditation Board and has become one of the city’s leading providers of hospice pharmacy services. His dedication to patient care extends beyond the pharmacy, having participated in more than 100 health fairs and educational initiatives focused on medication safety and wellness.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Boris played a critical role in advocating for vaccine access for vulnerable populations. Working directly with New York State officials, he helped secure vaccine distribution for long-term care facilities and healthcare workers, personally administering vaccines at on-site clinics and helping more than 5,000 individuals receive lifesaving protection.

A passionate supporter of community health, Boris serves as Executive Director of the Northwell Health Foundation Board and contributes his expertise to numerous healthcare and hospice organizations. His commitment to service has earned him many prestigious honors, including Drug Topics Pharmacist of the Year, Staten Island Community Health Hero, and the Jewish Community Center of Staten Island’s Star of David Honoree.

Today, Boris continues to lead with the philosophy that healthcare should focus not only on treating illness, but on promoting wellness and strengthening communities. His professional accomplishments, philanthropic leadership with the Northwell & JCC of Staten Island Board of Directors, and dedication to helping others make him a truly deserving honoree. It is with great appreciation that we recognize Boris Natenzon for his outstanding contributions to healthcare, community service, and charitable causes.

It was a pleasure to welcome Tim Weil, the original musical director behind Rent, and to hear the incredible story behind his book, "Making Rent: The Story Behind the Music that Changed Broadway"!

We recently recognized the outstanding fellows from our second We Are All Staten Island Fellowship Against Hate (WAASIFAH) cohort with a graduation ceremony! Over the past few months, our fellows have developed skills that they will bring back to their communities to fight hate in Staten Island and beyond. We're proud of the work they're doing to make Staten Island a better place for everyone!

Special thanks to the Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) of New York, the Mayor’s Office for the Prevention of Hate Crimes as part of the Partners Against the Hate (PATH-Forward) initiative, the Council of Jewish Organizations (COJO), and the Richmond County District Attorney's Office for supporting this important program.

The Beatrice Victor Senior Olympics 2026 was an event to remember! Last week, we gathered at the Bernikow JCC for a special closing ceremony to celebrate the dedication of our participants, staff, and volunteers!🏅

Recently, our ECE teachers and therapists came together for a day of Professional Development!

Recently, the Bernikow JCC Staten Island joined the Salmon family as we celebrated the street naming for Egon J. Salmon Way — the first street in Staten Island named after a Holocaust survivor.

It was an incredibly meaningful and memorable day for the entire Salmon family.
