A very special “Happy Action Birthday” goes out to the one and only Marty Amoroso! Marty and I have been racing together a LONNNGGGG time now, and I am happy to call him one of my best friends. From Action to Jackson to any given dirt lot or parking lot, Marty is there lending his help and support, and having fun doing it. Happy birthday brother! ❤️

Happy birthday to one of the ultimate Action RC legends, the great Sammy Gotts, aka Stu Gotts aka Stugottz!

Sam came to Action for the very first time taking the train from Manhattan as a little kid! I will never forget meeting him and all of the memories we created with him for years after. He became an instant part of the family, with a sense of humor like no other. There was always something funny going on when Sam was around.

Will anyone ever forget Skittle Burgers???

Twenty years ago tonight, June 9th, 2004, Action RC opened its doors to the public after two months of building and renovation. Twenty years later, it remains one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences of my life. I have so many great memories, and a few bad ones as well, but I am so thankful for the friends and relationships that it brought into my life that continue to this day.

I will continue my “mission” of developing RC racing, the hobby I love, and I thank everyone who was involved in making Action RC so great!

Happy birthday to Action R/C Mini Speedway legend Johnathan Klingler!

One of the best RC racers ever, and one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet. He could drive MiniZ’s that look they were held together with duct tape better than most of us with a top level car. He was always willing to help any way possible, opening the track if I were running late, helping with birthday parties, helping with layout changes, etc.

We are running the Kyosho MiniZ box stock class and a slightly modified AWD “BULL” (Berm Unlimited Limited) class.

Monday night: Practice
Wednesday night: Racing
Friday night: Racing (We have plenty of time for practice on Fridays since it’s a less rushed night than Wednesday, when we make sure we finish by 10.)
