From our opening tee shots in 1996 to today, we’re proud to mark this milestone with our members and guests. Thank you for being part of our story — we look forward to celebrating with you on the course all year long.

River Oaks is 30 years old...and we plan on celebrating all year. Look for special events and activities that focus on our anniversary. The course has had multiple names and owners, but has never been better.

We started as Broken Arrow National in 1996. Over the years, the name changed to Buffalo Shoals National and North Carolina National...before becoming River Oaks Golf Club in 2006.

River Oaks will be closed December 14th & 15th due to freezing conditions.

Please note that River Oaks in Statesville, NC will be closed on July 30 for greens maintenance. We’re using the DryJect process, a cleaner, quicker, and less disruptive alternative to traditional aerification.

The course will reopen on July 31, and the greens will be very playable. Learn more about DryJect online—we think you’ll be impressed!
