Join the Iredell County 4-H Trouble Shooters!!

The Iredell County 4-H Troubleshooters are hosting Interest and Safety Meetings for youth ages 8–18 and their families who want to learn more about joining the 2026 program year. Participants will have the opportunity to explore disciplines such as archery, shotgun, rifle, pistol, muzzleloader, and hunter skills while learning how 4-H promotes life skills in a safe, supportive environment led by certified instructors. Join us on Thursday, March 12 and 26 at 6:00 PM at the Iredell County Ag Resource Center Auditorium in Statesville.

North Carolina 4H State Hunter Skills tournament. Great day for Iredell county with 8 kids competing. our Trouble shooters senior team 1 brought home 3rd place. Ty Anderson was 4th place overall with the top 5 being close within 20 points of each other. Junior Hunter Walker was 4th overall also with the top 5 being within 10 points of each other. All the kids done great and we are ready to start a great year shooting and teaching these kids about safety and life skills. If you are interested in sponsoring the team please reach out.

The Iredell County Trouble Shooters survived a long hot day and had 21 members compete at our Regional Competition this past weekend in Ellerbe, NC. The competition consisted of 11 disciplines. Our team participated in Shotgun, Muzzleloader, Rifle-Open Sight, Rifle-Telescopic, Compound Archery and Match, Recurve Archery and Match, and Small Bore Pistol.

We are happy to say that we have 8 members advancing to the State Competition in October. .

The team would not be able to do what we do without the incredible support from our sponsors, coaches and volunteers. Your generosity and dedication help make our 4-H club a place where our youth can learn, grow, and have fun!!
