Abbey Barclay grew up dancing in Illinois at Stage Door Dance Academy, where she is now a faculty member and Performance Company Director. In 2015, Abbey was selected to be a member of The Collective, an assistant program for DanceMakers Inc. Convention and Competition, where she was able to train closely under some of the best in the dance industry. Upon completion of the Collective, Abbey was part of eight tours with DanceMakers where she grew to become their Assistant Tour Director. Abbey’s choreography debuted when she was one of six young artists selected to be part of Tomorrow’s Choreographers through the Dancers Awareness Project in Chicago. Abbey has continued to share her love of teaching and choreography with studios across the country.

Today is , and we wanted to say "thank you" to all of our VDT parents, aunts/uncles, grandparents, and guardians who help provide a dance education to their dancers.

It's not easy juggling busy schedules, learning to do a perfect ballet bun, or becoming an emergency seamstress. We are so appreciative of all your hard work, and we couldn't do it without you.

These dancers had a blast at K-Pop Dance Hunters camp this week! They learned new routines, had red carpet fashion moments, and made a music video!

We are so proud of Carrie for working hard at her 5-week summer intensive! She is learning so much from the School of Philadelphia Ballet, and we can't wait to hear all about her incredible experiences when she returns to VDT.
