Athletes braved subzero temps for their final morning of the U16 Rocky/Central Championships! From over a foot of powder, to 30 degree temperatures swings, mother nature threw all the tricks at these athletes, and they threw their own tricks right back, coming in with perseverance, speed and results to be proud of! What's that you say? Alpine is not a stamina sport? Tell that to these skiers who started the day loading the lift before 8:00am, and took their ski boots off after 8:00pm after a long day of course slipping and racing in the alpine combined.
