Race day is like just a few weeks away, and here are some important updates:
1 Waitlist. We are going through our waitlist, and rather than send invites, if you are interested in running, you need to contact us in the next few days and tell us. 2 Before asking questions, please read our website and Runners Manual. If you ask, and we ignore you, it means the answer is on our website!
3 We are DESPERATE for volunteers and we especially need a few more sweeps. If you can help out, please let us know.
4 Hares, it’s time to pick out your teammates. There’s $5,000 to be had! We know of several women who are looking to get teamed up. Let us know!
5 And how about our $1500 predict the winners contest? Send your picks in (men and women winners, 50 and 100 miler, and the top team.
6 Finally, looking for a few more good men (and women)! Please email mailto:[email protected] for more information and eligibility details.
Finally we want our good friend Jeff Browning and his family to know that we will be thinking about him and rooting for him. They don't make them tougher than Bronco Billy.

Official RRR100 sunglasses now available

We're excited to share that BOLD Outerwear is this year's official eyewear sponsor of Run Rabbit Run 100, and they've created something special for our runners.

BOLD is a local Steamboat Springs brand built for mountain athletes, and this year they created three limited-edition sunglasses with the RRR100 logo exclusively for our event. Photochromic lenses automatically shift from clear to tinted as conditions change, making them perfect for exactly the kind of light you'll encounter on course: dark canyon sections, exposed ridges, alpine terrain all in one day. No fumbling with lens swaps mid-race.

All three styles are available online now and will also be at packet pickup and race day.

Or pick your style:

Glow — Black/Gold — Grab This Style

Glow — Purple — Grab This Style

Limited quantities. Once they're gone, they're gone.

Hey, Bunnies and Turtles,
Time’s-a-getting close, and boyo-boyo, those waitlists are moving quick. But a quick shout out to a few of more of our Legends of the Hutch, no list of which would be complete without Kyle Pietari! Kyle was 4th here in 2018 and then came back to win in 2019. He’s been Top Ten in Western States 5 times and, Ivy League education notwithstanding, is a great guy! Then there’s Alex Nichols, who won here in 2016, following it up with a 2nd at Western the next year. And don’t forget soon to be legends Annie Hughes, Addie Bracy, Riley Brady, Dave Stevens and Jim Rebenack, the latter two who’ll be running this year. Think you might be a legend in the making? We’ve still got a very few slots a-waiting for you!
And for you Hoppin’ Hares, it’s time to start picking your team mates for this year’s Team Challenge. Details on our website!
And don’t forget to book your stay at our great lodging sponsor, the Gravity Haus, just a few steps from the start and finish!
See ya soon!

🏃‍♀️Looking for the perfect last tune-up before Run Rabbit Run? The Continental Divide Trail Run is calling!

Held in August, as part of the Steamboat Springs Running Series, for decades the CDT 50K and 16M have been local favorites. These races share key sections of the RRR course, including the front side of the ski area and 12 miles of the iconic out-and-back to Long Lake. Whether you’re prepping for the 50 or 100, this is your shot to get dialed in. 🐰🐢

🎉 Bonus: CDT has a fun 5-mile race that is perfect for family and friends while you crush the longer stuff! 😉

RRR has always been proud to be included in the SSRS series and our roots and community are deeply connected. Many of the SSRS organizers run and volunteer for RRR every year. Beyond the training benefits, your race entry gives back. SSRS is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and the CDT race has contributed more to the Trail Maintenance Endowment Fund than any other group in town, helping preserve and maintain our beloved local trails for future generations. 💚

Don’t miss your chance to run, give back, and be part of something bigger. CDT has a few elite comp spots available!! If you’re interested, please reach out to [email protected]
