RACE CANCELLED. Sad to say, but things have not fallen in to place for the 2014 Steamboat Coureur.
Hopefully things will change for 2015.

Spring racing classic. Cross Country Skiing and/or Snowbiking or Unicycle (all on snow). Fun and unique winter trail event with great prizes.
All events are on expertly groomed trails on Rabbits Ears Pass just a few miles from Steamboat Springs, Colorado. You can:
Ski 10k, 25k or 50k (freestyle)
Snike (snowbike) 25k or 50k
Skike (Snowbike and Ski) 25k/25k
Snuni and Snike Slalom downhill
Snuni (Snowunicycle): 1k, 5k or 24k

About 3" new snow last night. Weather prediction for Rabbit Ears station: Lows mid to high 20's and highs 40's all the way through race day. 3/30 low in AM 28 degrees with 42 degrees by noon. 30% chance of snow. Good fat tire day.

Skied and Snunied the course two days ago. There is about 3 feet more snow on the ground this year as compared to 2012 and the course was in great shape in 2012.
Adding a unicycle and snow bike slalom just for fun and a prize.
