At Ultimate Archery safety has always been our top priority since the day we opened. We're excited to announce our schedule is now up for bookings as of July 8th.

We’ve taken important precautions to keep our customers, staff, and community as safe as possible amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. We believe we are in a unique position since we can offer our entire 4,500 sqft facility for private bookings, allowing for maximum social distancing measures.

1. All sessions are totally private at no additional cost. No strangers intermingling with your friends/family. The only people in the arena will be those you are comfortable with. There is a 4 player minimum, although for the best experience we recommend at least 6 players (so bring family or friends who you feel safe and comfortable with!). The max in the arena will be 12 to allow for maximum social distancing. Same price of $28/person, but always private no matter the amount of players.

2. Schedule changes to limit interactions between groups. All of our sessions will have a 15 minute gap in between them, allowing us to avoid the mixing of separate groups and provide time for cleaning. If you arrive early, we ask you to wait outside until your scheduled time.

All sessions will remain 1 hour and 15 minutes (15 minutes for training, 1 hour for game play with breaks in between). Additionally, birthday parties and other events will get 30 minutes of fully private time to use our tables after your session.

3. Expanded cleaning practices. As always, archery dodgeball masks are thoroughly disinfected between sessions. Additionally, all bows and high touch game surfaces are disinfected between games. We also provide wipes and hand sanitizer for everyone to use personally. Each evening, we fully submerge each mask. All of our equipment is cleaned with commercial grade antiviral/antifungal/antibacterial cleaner.

If you are having a party using our tables – we clean tables thoroughly before, and after. We will also provide table cloths for the tables.

4. Fewer interactions. All payments and reservations will already have been made in advance. All waivers should be completed online, prior to arrival. If you haven’t completed a waiver, we’ll ask you to do it on your personal cell phone (wifi is available in our facility).

5. Increased air flow. We are running our HVAC on high, with the doors open and with additional fans and air purifiers.

6. All employees will be wearing masks. Guests are requested to wear masks when they aren’t playing. During gameplay all guests are required to wear an archery dodgeball mask, as always, but no additional facial coverings are required during play.

7. Waiver of change fees. If you wish to move your booking please call us at least one hour before your scheduled start time. Please don’t come if you are feeling sick!

8. We’ve added weekday hours! Don’t want to wait till the weekend to come play with your family? Want the first or last session of the day? No worries, we’ve got it covered. Check out our schedule for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evening sessions.

9. Reservations required. All sessions must be reserved online prior to the time of arrival. No walk-ins will be accepted. Don’t worry, reservations can be made here, or you can give us a call at 571-375-7976! When we see your reservation come through, we’ll close it off to make it private and contact you to make sure.

Health and Safety Update

We have been getting a few questions around our cleaning process, and we wanted to post more information for the benefit of everyone. We take cleanliness very seriously at Ultimate Archery, and in recent weeks we have added more cleaning to our normal processes.

After each session, we disinfect our masks and arm guards thoroughly, with an antibacterial, antifungal, and antiviral solution.

Two times per week (on Saturday and Sunday evenings), we also fully submerge and scrub every one of our masks in the same solution.

We have recently also added cleaning wipes to our facility, and offer purell as well for anyone that wants to do a second pass on any equipment they use.

If someone is sick, we ask that you stay home and wait to come to Ultimate Archery until you are better. We are happy to give a refund if it is within our cancellation policy (see your confirmation email for our policy). If we cannot give a refund, we will work with you to move your reservation to a better time without any penalty so you wont lose anything. Starting at $12/hr with raises based on performance. Ultimate Archery is a combination of dodgeball and archery played with foam-tipped arrows (See ultimate-archery.com for more details). Our facility in Sterling, VA hosts individuals, kid’s/adult’s birthday parties, bachelor parties, corporate events, etc. Ultimate Archery is looking for friendly, enthusiastic and confident individuals to join its fun and growing team. While Ultimate Archery provides an extremely active and exciting activity, the player experience largely depends on the referee – how well they communicate, the enthusiasm they show and how they control the action. This job is perfect for those looking for more experience in sports, team/educational activities, and coaching large and small groups. Seeking one person during the weekend and weeknights for a regular shifts, up to 29 hours per week. We also host corporate events during the week, so weekday availability is a plus.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Greet and check-in individuals and groups
• Instruct customers on the proper way to shoot a bow (archery experience not required)
• Provide game play rules and guidelines
• Supervise and officiate game play
• Promote a fun, safe and competitive environment
• Manage bookings, answer phone calls and emails
• Distribute equipment and provide instruction on proper use and safety
• Answer questions and handle feedback
• Ensure the front desk, arena and other areas are clean, orderly and safe for the public
• Ensure games begin and end on time; or fair adjustments are made
• Properly clean and store equipment upon return
