Dear Truffle Shuffleurs,
 
It is with a heavy heart that I am announcing the cancellation of The Truffle Shuffle in 2025. This decision did not come lightly. The Truffle Shuffle is a place for cyclists to meet up with dear friends, make new pals, let out that pent-up energy, and celebrate the simple beauty of riding bikes (in a not-so-simple way). It’s a magical hour on the gravel roads south of Stillwater, Oklahoma.
 
I started The Truffle Shuffle in 2020 with Sally Turner as a way to avoid writing my Ph.D. dissertation. What culminated that day became legend, and since then I have been continuously surprised at how much The Truffle Shuffle and its community have grown. This is not the end of The Truffle Shuffle, that’s for dang sure. But, after agonizing self-reflection, I have concluded that this year, I cannot deliver the kind of event the Truffle Shuffle community rightly deserves.
 
We all need an event that’s over the top, irreverent, and just a Damn Good Time. That is why I’ll be gunning full speed ahead for an epic Truffle Shuffle in 2026.
 
I encourage you to look into (or ride/race!) The Truffle Shuffle’s sister event, The G3 Gravel Series, which will take place over three weekends in Oklahoma in the fall of 2025. Race/Ride 1 is scheduled for September 27, 2025 in Guthrie, OK. I hope to see you there!

Through rain, shine, cold and ice, has been a staple. Since 2021, , , and their beautiful chitlins have served gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian BBQ alongside huge slabs of brisket and picanha for our ravenous riders.

We’ve been honored to have at 6 of the last Truffle Shuffles - with the exception being at our very first year when we still didn’t quite understand that people wanted to Do the Thing and eat tasty BBQ after. cultivated community at The Truffle Shuffle - many riders bowed out of the event just to get in line for that tasty, home-cooked füd. We sat around with our plates full, laughing about costumes and last lap shenanigans. It became a tradition.

With heavy hearts, we say goodbye as wraps up its last season - and, with proud souls, we say thank you to & for their hard work, dedication, and absolute passion for their craft. Some nights, would camp out on The Hill just to make sure everything was all right. We’ve been so lucky to have on our side, and we can’t wait to celebrate them with a proper send off at on August 24. Join us for a few beers, eats, and memories!

Consider this our VH1 Storytellers, but without the slick tunes. All right, sweaties. Here’s the deal. After weeks of deliberation and gut-wrenching agony, we have decided to formally *push* The Truffle Shuffle from Oct. 26-27 to Feb. 22-23, 2025.

This year, we adopted our beautiful sister and we want to deliver on level best. We also want to deliver on , which is why we have decided to push the date. This allows us to promote our very very EPIC race series () this fall while prepping an even more amped Truffle Shuffle in 2025. Also, it’s not OSU Homecoming in February. Touchdown!

We were born in February. Our roots are like Cupid’s arrows that are stabbed into Stillwater’s Inspiration Point Hill. Let’s create a season opener so crazy your grandma will be sending you forwarded emails.
