Stillwater Dynamite Softball

Our Stillwater Dynamite 2k13 (10U) finished their league season tonight with a final record of 5-2-1 and some 2nd place hardware. These girls have come a long way in a short amount of time. Huge thanks to their coaches for a great league season.

Open practice for the 9U/10U Dynamite will take place tonight as scheduled from 6-8 but the location is now moved to Airport Fields #2 due to recent weather and renovations taking place at our regular fields. We hope to see everyone tonight.

The Stillwater Dynamite Softball 9U/10U will be hosting tryouts to fill some open roster spots for our upcoming 2023/24 fall/spring seasons. The tryout will be held on July 10th at 6:00-8:00pm at Babcock Park here in Stillwater.

This year we will be competing in our local league as well as tournaments across the state. This past season we finished in 8U with a record of 24-8 and had two top three finishes and two championships. We look forward to adding some solid players to help our team continue to develop and succeed both on and off the field. The Stillwater Dynamite Softball 8U finished their season with a bang!!! We played in the Perkins Tournament this past weekend to wrap it all up and they didn’t disappoint. Even as I was rushing from field to field since my 12u sons team was also competing in Perkins as well, these girls brought their ”A” game. The girls finished the tournament 6-0 and beat a very good Stroud team in the championship game. We came up with timely hits to drive in runs and played flawless defense to win this one. I couldnt have been more proud of how they played all weekend. We had to pick up a few girls this weekend and Harper, Ellis, and Brylee played awesome helping out in the games we needed. We greatly appreciated them filling in for our girls that had some conflicts.

The team fonished the season 24-8 overall. We won two tournament championships and a league championship. They improved more than I could have ever imagined from day 1 to the last out this past weekend. We had our ups and downs, but these girls learned what this game has to offer on and off the field. I have thoroughly enjoyed coaching this team and can’t wait to see what is in store next season.

These girls continue to amaze me. The difference between the beginning of the year and now is unbelievable. We were missing a few girls for other commitments but we were able to get Layla and Kinedy to fill in and help us out. The Stillwater Dynamite finished the Hennessey “Schools Out” tourney with a 4-0 record while scoring 51 runs and only giving up 16, and batting average of .706 on their way to winning the championship. Congrats girls, you earned it!!!!! Go Dynamite!!!!
