Hero Gravel Classic is a one day public gravel ride from Gasthaus Bavarian Hunter. We ride to honor First Responders as Local Heroes.
It is not a race, yet many will choose to ride fast ... like a 'hero' on fast hero gravel. 'The Hero' is an unsupported non-competitive cycling event (from now on also defined as a public group ride or, incorrectly, competition or race) on Washington County's fastest 'hero' gravel. Gravel so fast, you ride like a hero!

On behalf of PedalPower MN and Chilkoot Velo, we thank all of you that showed your support and interest today in making the 2025 Hero Gravel Classic a success. We appreciate the time and the choice to come out and play bikes to support a wonderful cause and have some fun doing it. We also extend a hearty thank you to all of our volunteers, the Gasthaus, and Washington county for helping us pull this thing off again. We are already looking forward to next year!
