To accomplish this, we actively participate in educational programs to teach anglers the techniques of fly fishing, fly tying, fishing ethics and the practice of "catch and release". We place great emphasis on conservation issues as they relate to streams and lakes with a focus on protection, preservation and restoration. We have assumed the responsibility to monitor local waters and bring to the attention of the public and governmental agencies issues which threaten conservation. We encourage families and anglers of all ages to participate in the club's activities. $30.00 a year for a General Member and $35.00 for a Family Membership. Seniors age 62 and older $25.00 per year. The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) is adding two in-person scoping sessions in Eureka, CA, for the proposed decommissioning of the Potter Valley Project.

Bluegill don’t get nearly enough credit.

For a lot of us, fishing didn’t start with a giant bass, an expensive boat or some bucket-list trip.

It started on the edge of a pond with a cheap rod, a bobber and half a worm.

Then that little bobber disappeared.

A 6-inch bluegill started pulling, and suddenly nothing else in the world mattered.
