🏌️‍♂️💜⛳ What a Season. What a Team. What a Day. ⛳💜🏌️‍♂️

Today, our Stoughton Varsity Golf Team left everything they had on the golf course at Regionals, and I couldn’t be more proud of this group of young men.

These boys have worked all season for this moment. Early morning practices, long days on the course, countless range sessions, extra holes after practice, and a commitment to getting better every single day. They never stopped believing in each other, and today it showed.

🔥 The team shot a season-best 302 — the lowest score Stoughton Golf has posted in the last five years!

We finished 2nd place overall, just 5 shots shy of being Regional Champions. That alone speaks volumes about how far this team has come.

Individual performances were nothing short of incredible:

🥈 Jaren Vale fired a career-best 2-under-par 69, earning 2nd place individually. An unbelievable round under pressure and one he will never forget. So proud of the hard work he’s put in to reach this level.

💥 Camdyn Ketelsen followed with an outstanding 1-over 72, including a season-best front nine of 3-under par, highlighted by 2 birdies and an eagle. He battled all day and delivered when the team needed him most.

💪 Rocco Randall posted a strong 78, continuing to be one of the toughest competitors on our roster and giving us another tremendous round when it mattered most.

👏 Jacob Hibner came through with an 83, grinding through every hole and contributing to our historic team score.

❤️ Colton Schauff shot a 95, and while scores don’t always tell the whole story, Colton’s commitment, attitude, and willingness to battle for his teammates all season long have been a huge part of what makes this team special. Every player on this roster contributed to the success we’ve had this year.

The scores tell part of the story, but they don’t tell the whole story.

What has impressed me most all season isn’t the birdies, eagles, or low rounds. It’s the way these young men show up every day. They work. They compete. They support one another. They never quit. When one player struggles, another picks him up. When one player succeeds, the entire team celebrates.

That culture is what makes this group special.

As a coach, you couldn’t ask for a better group of young men to lead. They represent Stoughton with class, character, and determination every single day.

Tonight, be proud of what you accomplished. You earned it.

302. Season Best. Best Stoughton score in 5 plus years. Five shots from a Regional Championship.

The future is bright for Stoughton Golf.

🏆 Stoughton Boys Golf – Varsity Invitational Results ⛳️

The Stoughton Boys Golf team had an outstanding showing at their first varsity invitational of the season yesterday!

The team captured 1st place in the Small Division and finished an impressive 3rd overall out of 19 teams.

Leading the way was Camdyn Ketelsen, who delivered a fantastic round of 76, earning 2nd place individually out of 90 players.

A great start to the season and a strong team effort all around. Looking forward to building on this momentum!

The Stoughton Home Varsity Invite is happening TODAY at Coachman’s Golf Resort, with tee-off at 11 AM!

We’ve got 11 of our Viking golfers competing in this one — a big day for the team!

If you’re free and don’t mind bundling up, come out and cheer on the boys as they take on the course.

Battling the Elements on Day One! ⛳️💨

The Stoughton Boys Golf Team kicked off the season with tryouts yesterday, braving cold temperatures and strong winds. Despite the challenging conditions, the guys fought through and managed to complete nine solid holes.

A special shoutout to Camdyn Ketelsen, who posted the low round of the day with an impressive 38! 🔥👏

The weather hasn’t been on our side to start the season, but that hasn’t stopped this group from grinding and improving. With our first matches coming up this Monday, we’re seeing a lot of positive signs and are excited for what’s ahead.
