Stratford Performing Arts Academy "spaa"

Our Summer program includes a Musical Theatre/Dance Camp. Stratford Performing Arts offers two types of programs, Non-Competitive/Recreational Dance and our Competitive Companies. Company Dancers perform in the June show as well as numerous competitions and benefits throughout the season. Our Recreational students perform at our Holiday show and the June Recital. Our school had established the 1st Connecticut chapter of the National Dance Honor Society, and voted in the top 3 competitive studios in Connecticut, in 2009. We have received Best Studio Awards, Best Director, Best Choreography and Most Entertaining Awards at competitions, as well as numerous overall high score awards. The Academy is proud to welcome each and every performer to their family, and will give them the highest quality of education possible. Our motto is "Dance plus Academics, equals Education". There is much more than just learning the steps. Students need to know how and why, as well as the history behind it all. We are confident that our students will benefit from our programs, and we look forward to welcoming you as a member of our "Family" for our 40th season.
