100 Days!

We are excited to welcome a Bunnell alumnus back home to join our coaching staff. Coach Alexandre was an All-State selection in 2018, establishing himself as one of the top players in the state during his time at Bunnell. Following his high school career, he continued his academic and athletic journey at Lock Haven University in Pennsylvania, where he played defensive back and contributed to helping restore and rebuild the program. He also earned his MBA from Lock Haven, demonstrating his commitment to excellence both on the field and in the classroom.

Coach Alexandre brings with him a high level of playing experience, a deep understanding of the game, and a strong connection to the Bunnell community. His passion, work ethic, and firsthand knowledge of what it takes to succeed at this level will make him a valuable mentor for our student-athletes. We are proud to have him back and look forward to the impact he will have on our program both on and off the field.

Run It Back

Congratulations to DANIEL YIRENKYI on being named the recipient of the 2026 Raul Peter Font Memorial Scholarship.

Daniel will continue his academic and athletic journey this fall at Central Connecticut State University and we could not be more proud of him.

Coach Raul Font was a dedicated ESOL teacher in the City of Stamford and a passionate high school football coach who most recently coached the defensive line at Bunnell High School. His impact on students and players continues to live on through this scholarship and the young men it supports.

This award is proudly presented by Hayley Font, her fiancé Kyle, and Bunnell Head Coach Ty Jenkins.
