The Bulldogs defended home turf on Senior Night against conference rival Wilmington—and delivered 32 PRs in the process.
Girls:
The girls earned a strong 49–36 victory. 🎓 Juliana Schultz won the long jump and placed 2nd in the 400m. Kinslee Sweeden swept the throws, including another state-qualifying discus mark. Elizabeth Davis took 1st in the 400m after delivering an incredible national anthem performance. Katherine Pierce won the 300m hurdles, while both the 4x100 and 4x200 relay teams brought home 1st place finishes. 🎓 Belle Dean, Manager

Boys:
The boys delivered a 89-38 victory. 🎓 Cody Taylor swept the throws with PRs in both events. 🎓 Andrew Warwick won the 100m and pole vault. 🎓 LA Moton took 1st in the triple jump. 🎓 Gabe Gutierrez won the 3200m and also competed in the 800m. 🎓 Leodies Jordan placed 2nd in the 100m and 6th in the 200m, earning PRs in both. 🎓 Lloydy Jones recorded a PR for 3rd in the long jump and added PRs in the 200m. 🎓 Jacob Isermann took 2nd in shot put and 3rd in discus. 🎓 Garritt Benstine placed 3rd in the 100m. 🎓 Jesus Martinez finished 4th in the 200m. 🎓 Chase Lane and 🎓 Jon Davis were sidelined due to injuries.

Mason Cole won the long jump, Brandon Mangruem took 1st in the high jump, Trent Studnicki won the 800m, and Brian Sims claimed the 1600m title. The boys 4x200 and 4x400 relay teams also finished 1st.

ONCE A BULLDOG, ALWAYS A BULLDOG 🐾

The Bulldogs battled tough winds today at the LP Invite, with strong performances across the board.

The JV girls stole the spotlight. Katherine Pierce led the way with impressive 1st-place finishes in both the 100m dash and the 300m hurdles. Kinslee Sweeden had a standout day in the field, earning a PR in the discus with a throw of 33.70m—surpassing the state qualifying mark—and taking 2nd place. She also added another 2nd-place finish in the shot put. Ariana Gavina continued the momentum in the throws, recording a PR in the discus as well.

The throwers kept the energy high by competing in the throwers 4x100 relay, earning cupcakes for their effort. On the track, the girls 4x200 relay team added to the team’s success with a strong 3rd-place finish.

On the boys side, LayZeric Moton earned a 2nd-place finish in the varsity high jump. The varsity 4x100 relay team secured a 3rd-place finish. In the Fresh-Soph division, JJ Rzasa took 3rd in the 300m hurdles, while the 4x400 relay team also brought home a 3rd-place finish. The Fresh-Soph boys showed continued growth, setting three new PRs on the day.

The girls competed at Pontiac against some top opponents with the hosts, Prairie Central and Olympia. We earned 7 PR's in the 200m, 400m, and hurdles.
Isabella Robart earned 1st place in the triple jump. Lydia Gallik finished 2nd in the 100m hurdles and 3rd in the 300m hurdles. Katherine Pierce finished 2nd in the 300m hurdles. Kinslee Sweeden finished 2nd in the shot put. The 4x200 team also earned a 2nd place finish.

The bulldogs opened our outdoor season last night in Seneca. We are off to a great start with 16 PR's despite the wind.

For the boys Brandon Mangruem took 1st place in the high jump with a PR of 1.87m. Andrew Warwick won the pole vault with a height of 3.5m. Second place finishers were JJ Rzasa in the 110 hurdles, Chase Lane with a PR in the 400m, along with the 4x100, 4x200, and 4x400 teams. Third places were earned by Ted Neuman in the 110m hurdles and the 4x800 relay.

Kinsley Sweeden earned 3rd place in both the shot put and discus with a PR in the shot put. Katherine Pierce earned a 3rd place finish in the 300m hurdles. Rhea Huey earned a 3rd place finish in the pole vault.

Last night the boys competed at the Pontiac Indoor Invite. Top finishers were LayZeric Moton tying Brandon Mangruem for 4th place in the high jump with a height of 6'0". There was great competition for the boys to accomplish 9 PRs and finish out the indoor season.
