Went testing yesterday. Made 2 short runs to make sure we are ready for our first race at Cordova on May 9th. First run clicked it off at the 330ft cone and coasted to a 5.11 I'm the 1/8. Made some adjustments and clicked it off about 500ft on the second run and coasted to a 4.98 in the 1/8. She's going to fly.

May 23 Eddieville Iowa we will be there with the Fairmont.

The quick_performance door car shootout would not be complete without a little nostalgia in it! We are excited to have 4 nostalgia pro stocks in the lineup for this event!

Made more progress on the transmission tunnel. Little bit more and it will be done.

After we took the Fairmont out testing for the first time and the weather turned cold we got started on some changes we had planned. Built new wheelie bars and had them powder coated. Removed the old heavy battery box and we are currently making some changes to the transmission tunnel to make it fit with the new big block bellhousing. Few other small changes and we will be ready for more testing in the spring.

Went testing yesterday with the new Fairmont combination. This was the very first run, was planned to just pull second gear and click it off. Very good 1.14 60ft time.

With the new big block we needed to modify the scoop just a bit. Just about ready for some primer and paint.

5 years ago today we picked up the Fairmont. We are in the process of getting the updates done for the new power plant. The lower frame rails are repainted from some welding we did to remount the steering rack, new radiator, new front end mounts and tabs for oil containment pan. Finished up with swapping gear ratios in the lenco 4 speed last week. Slowly but surely we will get her ready to get out testing.
