In jiu jitsu we can’t pass the ball to the best player and count on them to score. We only have ourselves. But there is a team of support behind us. The friends you make from tough training are going to be cheering you on not just in jiu jitsu, but in your goals and success in every area of your life.

Great job today! Win or lose we are proud of the effort you make in the academy. Losing gives us feedback on what we need to focus on to improve, and losing also creates resilience. Today we also celebrate our victories! Carmen congratulations on your double gold medal, your first tournament at grey belt - Two triangle submissions 💪. Randy: congratulations on your double silver medals with one Guillotine! Scarlett: congratulations on your very first tournament and your two silver medals and TWO guillotines! Ellie: you moved up in age and took on some tough opponents and earned a bronze medal. Great job. Just keep training and the rest will fall into place.
