With International Women’s Day ♀️on the mind, we would like to 𝕔𝕖𝕝𝕖𝕓𝕣𝕒𝕥𝕖 the Founder and CEO of 𝐁𝐨𝐝𝐡𝐢 𝐘𝐨𝐠𝐚 𝐂𝐥𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝, Lucia ()! When Lucia was working in the high stakes, high stress, high technology field, her boss wanted her to develop a 𝕙𝕒𝕓𝕚𝕥 to destress and she decided to attend the local 𝚏𝚒𝚝𝚗𝚎𝚜𝚜 studio. Each evening they offered a different class. From the 𝘮𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 she took her first yoga class onward, she knew it was a 𝕡𝕣𝕒𝕔𝕥𝕚𝕔𝕖 and passion that will last her a 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲.

She fell in 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 with yoga and began practicing daily- driving all over the Cleveland area to take class and eventually earning her teaching certification in 2010. She was 𝕚𝕟𝕤𝕡𝕚𝕣𝕖𝕕 by all the 𝚠𝚘𝚗𝚍𝚎𝚛𝚏𝚞𝚕 teachers before her to open her own studio in the neighborhood she grew up in and 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲 the life-changing practice of yoga at Bodhi Yoga Cleveland!

Happy Thanksgiving! We are endlessly thankful for each of you, the intimate community that makes our studio a special place. Your dedication to your practice fills our space with a beautiful energy that goes far beyond the 101 degree infrared radiant heat. 

Thank you for sharing your breath, your strength, and your vulnerabilities on the mat with us. Your presence lifts us up and breathes life into this studio, and we are honored to be a part of your journey to be well.

May your Thanksgiving be filled with gratitude, joy, sweat and many blessings.

Life is a balance between what we can control and what we cannot. We are constantly learning to live in the space between effort and surrender, pull and push, stretch and strengthen. When we can find that magic middle ground everything becomes clearer.

The beauty of yoga is that it not only changes the way you see the world, this practice changes the person who sees.
