Our final end of year award was awarded to junior Eric Dubsky, GCC boys Lacrosse Player of the Year.

Eric is the first SHS lacrosse player to receive this honor!

What an incredible weekend for Mustang Track & Field.

These athletes represented our school, community, and teammates with determination, grit, and class. From the first event to the final race, they competed with heart and left everything on the track.

The results speak for themselves, but what makes us most proud is the resilience, dedication, and teamwork that got them here.

All days are great days to be a Mustang, but today is even better!

🏆 OHSAA STATE CHAMPION 🏆

Congratulations to Hannah Jicha on winning the OHSAA Division I State Championship in the Girls 1600 Meter Run!

Hannah’s toughness and determination were on full display all season long. When her shoe came off during the 4x800 qualifier, she refused to let it stop her and still qualified for the States. That resilience carried all the way to the top of the podium.

Her state title capped off an outstanding weekend that also included a State Runner-Up finish in the 800 Meter Run and a 6th-place podium finish as a member of Strongsville’s relay team.

Three events. Three podium finishes. One unforgettable state meet.

Congratulations, Hannah! Your hard work, competitive spirit, and commitment to excellence make the entire Strongsville community proud.
