In Loving Memory of Austin Tanner Asbell

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of a valued member of the Continental Shooting Center family, Austin Tanner Asbell.

Austin was more than an employee. He was a friend, a coworker, and a familiar face to so many of our customers. His presence, personality, and the relationships he built during his time with us made him an important part of who we are.

The loss of someone so young is difficult to put into words. Our hearts are with Austin’s family, loved ones, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

We know many of our customers came to know Austin personally, and we wanted to share this difficult news with the community that he served.

Austin will be deeply missed, but he will not be forgotten. We are grateful for the time we had with him and for the memories he leaves behind.

Please keep Austin’s family and loved ones in your thoughts during this incredibly difficult time.

When we asked for your help supporting the abused dogs rescued in Palm City, you answered the call in an incredible way.

Thanks to the generosity of our customers, we collected well over 1,000 cans of wet dog food and blankets to help provide these animals with the food, warmth, and comfort they desperately needed.

And you didn't stop there.

Together, we also raised an additional $1,000, which was donated to the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast Emergency Medical Fund to help continue the medical care and rehabilitation of the rescued Border Collies.

Stuart shooting range raises hundreds of donations for Humane Society of the Treasure Coast Continental Shooting Center in Stuart is raffling off an exclusive membership for every $5 donation, can of dog food, or blanket brought in to benefit rescued border collies.

We called, and the community answered…

First delivery of food for the pups from the Palm City Hoarding Case. 45 Cases of Canned Food. A gracious donor donated 1000$ for immediate food relief. Tractor supply graciously discounted the cost to wholesale pricing when they heard where it was destined for.

This was a huge jump start to kickoff our efforts, but the need is great. I had the pleasure of meeting with some of these poor pups. Everyone’s efforts are greatly appreciated by not only us here at Continental Shooting Center, but the Humane Society tending to them.

HELP US HELP 36 ABUSED DOGS IN OUR COMMUNITY
As you may have heard, the Martin County Sheriff's Office recently raided a home in Palm City, rescuing 36 Border Collies that were living in absolutely deplorable conditions. If your not familiar with the story, you can read about it here:

The Treasure Coast Humane Society has taken these dogs into their facility for emergency help. But they cannot do it alone! They are in desperate need for WET dog food and blankets.
Continental Shooting Center is asking our customers, friends, and neighbors to step up for animals in desperate need.

They need our help—and we know what this community is capable of when we come together.

Continental Shooting Center is collecting:

New or gently used blankets (Twin Size & Smaller only please!)
Cans of wet dog food
And we want to give you a very special reason to help.

Our Black Card Membership is an exclusive membership reserved specifically for charitable raffles like this one. You cannot walk into Continental Shooting Center and purchase it. The only way to get one is through opportunities like this—when our community comes together to help others.

Bring 1 can = 1 ticket.
Bring 10 cans = 10 tickets.
Bring 20 cans and 2 blankets = 22 tickets.

There is no limit to how much you can help or how many chances you can earn.

Additionally, Tickets can be purchased for 5$ each at the front counter, will all proceeds going directly to the Treasure Coast Humane Society.

But more importantly, every single item represents something these dogs desperately need.

A can of food fills an empty stomach.
A blanket gives a frightened dog somewhere warm and soft to sleep.
And every donation reminds the people caring for these animals that they aren’t facing this alone.

These dogs didn’t choose what happened to them. But we can choose what happens next.
