Surf Central Says Goodbye after 26 years

Thank you Martin County for allowing us to sell you fun since 1998. On behalf of Doug and Ryan and the Pippins family we thank you so very much for making us a staple surf shop landmark in our community watching countless generations grow and friendships that will last a lifetime! We have had the BEST employees throughout the years that helped make our family stronger and customer service that always had a smile and a surf story. Thank you to each and everyone of you since 98. Always love!

To all the fantastic Reps we had the opportunity to work with, y’all are rockstars!! The friendships made have been amazing and your support and love towards the shop have made us feel like legends. For that we THANK YOU!!!! It’s been a really fun ride….

Team riders from adults to groms rocking that big SC sticker on boards, cars, boats etc you guys have made a huge impact through the years and we have a tremendous amount of love for you. Thank you for representing! 1love

As for Doug he’s wrapping up a long career and a much deserved retirement. It was his dream to start a surf shop with Ryan and teach him business through the years and there was no better teacher than him! His new goal is to surf as much as possible and travel and enjoy life without grinding 40 hr work weeks and taking phone calls and missing waves! He loved to work!!! Haha. Anyways, the love we have for him is unmatched and he is a true MC LEGEND……..

As for the future Surf Central will STILL be selling GEAR online and RYAN will be captaining that ship. Would love to keep the brand alive with all of our loyal customers! Be on the lookout! 🙌

To many people to thank but most importantly thank you dad and mom for giving me the opportunity to learn from you and create endless memories and have the best job a kid can grow with. It wasn’t a job it was a lifestyle. I love you!!!
