A little reminder to take care when folding your kite or wing.

The fabric on both outer struts tore along the folds. Repeatedly folding tightly in the same spot can weaken the fabric over time.

Keep your folds loose and avoid sharp creases when packing up. A little care can save you a repair. 😊

Both struts are now repaired and ready for the next session.

Remember this rare one?

Our FreeWing X-15 Class is back on the feed – this time for a look behind the scenes of its repair!

This special racing wing came in with a hole in the leading edge. We opened it up, reinforced the damaged area from both sides, stitched everything in place, and closed the leading edge with a double row of stitching.

A final inflation check, and it’s ready to hit the water again!

And take a closer look at the end – you can really see the unique double-surface design that makes this wing so special!

Ever seen a wing like this?

This is a FreeWing X-15 Class 6.0, designed specifically for competitive wingfoil racing.

What makes it so special? Its double-surface construction with internal chambers and a unique zipper system that allows the wing area to be reduced in stronger winds.

The X-15 is part of a one-design racing class, where everyone competes using standardized equipment.

And here’s an interesting fact: wingfoil racing has Olympic ambitions for the future!

Definitely not something we see every day at Kite & Wing. Now this unusual racing wing is here for a repair!

A leaking bladder doesn’t always mean you need a new one. Some punctures and valve problems can be repaired easily - while blowouts, microleaks or aging bladders are often better replaced.

Bladder problems have been one of the most common repairs we’ve seen over the past year, especially on wings.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by on Saturday to celebrate with us. It was great to spend the morning with friends, customers, and people who have supported us along the way.
