Tell me you have multiple sons without telling me you have multiple sons. 😅❤️

Since my youngest was born I’ve had a major slow down in my garment sewing time, but I’ve really enjoyed turning my attention toward some more handiwork in the last year! Patches on knees, like on these three pairs of pants, have proven to be a really quick and satisfying project.

Sashiko mending has always been something I loved to see, and I’ve got a fairly practical need for it as well. I’m afraid I’m not quite as fond as my beginning work here as I am of the really beautiful patterns that skilled Sashiko artists can do…but everybody starts somewhere!
