Tell me you have multiple sons without telling me you have multiple sons. š
ā¤ļø
Since my youngest was born Iāve had a major slow down in my garment sewing time, but Iāve really enjoyed turning my attention toward some more handiwork in the last year! Patches on knees, like on these three pairs of pants, have proven to be a really quick and satisfying project.
Sashiko mending has always been something I loved to see, and Iāve got a fairly practical need for it as well. Iām afraid Iām not quite as fond as my beginning work here as I am of the really beautiful patterns that skilled Sashiko artists can doā¦but everybody starts somewhere!
Have you gotten into visible mending or other handiwork? Have you ever had a season when your machine sewing wasnāt as accessible? Tell me about it!

Making coloring pages is up there with my favorite things.
Calling all artists from ages 0-115: Would you like your artistry featured on the market page? Use your talents and preferred medium (pencils, watercolor, digital, crayons, etc.) to embellish the attached drawing, and we'll feature it as a cover photo on the market page. When you submit your file, just let us know the name and age of the artist, and we'll be sure to share with the community.
The drawing was made by our very own Jessica Higginbotham from Hygmalion and Facetastic - Face Painting! She was kind enough to make this for our kids' day back in 2022. She's so talented!
