One of the biggest complaints about counting macros is the recipe aspect. One trick that helps me is keeping a handy note of how much my often used pans weight.

There are many ways to get motivated- it’s a very individual thing. For me, when I’m not feeling it, I’ll find a good mix to put on, wear a cute outfit, and/or change my training session. I put out my preworkout the morning before and I’ll remind myself how much better I’ll feel afterwards. The same goes for when you want to eat in a caloric deficit, I’ll remind myself of the goals, the time it takes to get there, and I can do hard things. I’ll survive feeling a little bit hungry, I can have the cookies another time- they will be there when I’m done cutting. You have to find what works for you, and did the heels in, and do it.

Don't love single leg exercises, but I do love how I feel once it's over.
Nothing can compare how accomplished you feel after doing something your brain tries to trick you into thinking you can't. I put on a good mix Mixcloud and my favorite leggings, and do it.

My whole family loves lasagna soup. To add a little protein and lighten the fat content, try adding cottage cheese in lieu of the ricotta/mozzerella mix. So good on a cold night. 💪

This before and after is roughly 6 years apart. What isn’t shown is all the zigzags I made in-between. On the left I just wanted to be skinny, and on the right, I just want to be strong and healthy. Your goal will always be a moving target and as you reach milestones- or miss milestones-you will evolve; but, don’t give up.

The easiest type of meal to edit according to my macros, is anything with taco meat. You can make it into a big salad and add more meat and vegetables to help with feeling full. I like to buy corn tortillas and air fry them for chips. Tonight I was craving rice, so I sacrificed my chips for rice. Figuring out macros aids in your ability to get creative and balance cravings.

Over heard a lady discussing her blood sugar levels and celebrating the results. She tried to run but the next day she was so hurt that she couldn’t run again, and hasn’t since. Don’t set yourself up for failure. If you’re overweight and haven’t walked, let alone run in years, set yourself up for success by setting an attainable goal of adding a 20 minute walk- or whatever that looks like for you.

Gotta get creative when you have a garage gym. I’m up to 45lbs on a heels elevated goblet squat, but only have a 45lb plate and a 35lb dumbbell. The plate is too cumbersome, so stacked a 10lb plate on my dumbbell. 🤷‍♀️

Love my for the garage gym. They are perfect for adding weight to dumbbells for those movements that aren’t ready for a 5lb jump. Also essential for adding weight while you save up for heavier dumbbells. I was able to fit all four in my Db for a 40lb row this morning. 👍🏻💪

This has become my daily lunch and I’m loving it. I cut the lavash bread into little pieces and put them in my air fryer for a few minutes and voila! some pita chips to dip on my hummus. This is a great alternative to buying fried pita chips when looking for a lower calorie alternative.
