First State Bank, our Fittest School Challenge Sponsor, presented awards to our top three FBISD winning schools. Congratulations to Anne Sullivan Elementary for winning 1st place, the second year in a row! Meadows Elementary took 2nd place, and Fort Settlement Middle School won 3rd. Let's give these schools a hand for promoting fitness in their schools. All schools received a donation for placing in the top three teams, along with a $5.00 donation for each team member. Let's continue to promote physical fitness to our kids! Many thanks to First State Bank for funding these awards via sponsorship with the USA Fit Marathon Event.

Many thanks to Simon Spine for hosting Packet Pick Up today! Volunteers had a busy day! Thanks so much for all your help. Plus one of our helpers lost his wedding band - found it later in the parking lot! Thanks to all of our participants who came out today for packet pick up. 95% of the packets were picked up! We hope everyone stays warm and dry over this weather pattern!
