One more. Can’t close out the week without giving a huge shoutout to our coaches. One of those thankless jobs. Right behind umps. lol. Thank you coaches for all you do for our kids week in and week out and for all you did this week. We’re grateful for all your time and effort. 💙💙💙

A few pics from last night. Before. During. After. It was a whirlwind of emotions. And we felt every one of them. Baseball is good training for life. It’s fun. It’s hard. It can be electrifying. And heartbreaking. All in the same day. And then we get to do it all over again. ☺️

Well….as a 9U team we clearly haven’t been doing this forever but all I can say is, it’s been a year! Last nights game was a literal roller coaster. Taylor H and Kaden A had outstanding performances on the mound and there were lots of other high moments for many players. We were behind then tied it up. We went ahead and then lost our lead. Tied it up again in the 5th inning and went into extra innings. When the dust settled our Bucks fell short 14-16. But I watched closely as many of our players hearts grew 3 sizes last night. That final piece came together - in our last game. Changes will always come. We are learning to manage those changes with a steady hand and a strong mind. In the end that’s what this is all about.

So we borrowed a little metaphor from Ole Miss head coach Mike Bianca. Shower well. If we win or lose today, shower well and let that win or loss go down the drain. Show up tomorrow. It’s a new day. Can I get an amen?!

Bucks 3435 9U fell 11 - 7 to Team Orlando 9 U today despite outhitting them 9 to 4. Bucks did well in the field with no errors committed. Tomorrow is a must win day. Let’s put all the pieces together and get those two wins tomorrow!

Our Bucks fought hard but fell short losing to Valor 9U Slidell 5-6. Despite outhitting Valor 9 to 6, Slidell turned 4 double plays and didn’t commit any errors in the field. A combo that was hard to beat. Let’s learn from it and leave with the W tomorrow! ⚾️
