It’s been a dance-filled summer at Shivangini Academy, filled with so many amazing performances! We are so proud of these four groups for winning so many awards at SEWA Dancing Stars competition - including Grand Prize Winner and multiple awards in each category. It’s amazing to see their dedication and hard work within Kathak and their love for dance as a whole. It’s been a month, but we’re still celebrating! 👏👏💃

Wishing our beloved Shiva Aunty a blessed Guru Purnima. 🌸

At Shivangini Academy, Guru Purnima is not about celebrating a person - it is about reflecting on the invaluable gift of a Guru and renewing our commitment to the path they have shown us.

Shiva Aunty pours her heart and soul into every student, giving far more than the art forms she teaches. Through her unwavering dedication, she teaches discipline, humility, perseverance, and the values that shape us both as artists and as people.

Today, we offer our deepest gratitude for her guidance, sacrifices, and endless belief in each of us. The greatest way we can honor our Guru is not through words, but through our sincerity, hard work, and commitment to carrying this tradition forward.

Happy Guru Purnima, Shiva Aunty. 🙏✨

What a privilege! Shivangini Academy was honored to perform for R. Madhavan following his incredible performance in Dhurandhar. We were deeply inspired by his words, humility, and the discipline that shines through both on screen and beyond it.
