OGKK Austin Karate Center continues to build strong foundations as we prepare for the upcoming USA Karate National Championships.

Our latest training session focused on the essentials that help every athlete grow with confidence and precision. Students worked through Jumbi Undō to improve mobility and breathing, followed by Basic Katas to sharpen stances, transitions, and clean technique. We finished with Kumite Fundamentals—footwork, distance control, timing, and reaction drills designed for national‑level performance.

A special thank‑you to Sensei Nelson for hosting another excellent seminar in Austin. His leadership, guidance, and commitment to authentic Goju‑ryu training continue to strengthen our community and elevate every student who steps on the floor.
