PGA Cup
We have a pretty special reason to be watching golf this weekend - Riverbend’s own Jesse Droemer will be representing the United States at the 2026 PGA Cup!
The PGA Cup is one of the highest honors a PGA Professional can achieve. First played in 1973, the biennial event brings together 10 PGA Professionals from the United States to compete against a 10-player team from Great Britain & Ireland in a Ryder Cup-style team competition.
This year’s event will be held October 2-4 at The K Club in County Kildare, Ireland.
Jesse earned his place on Team USA by finishing No. 1 in the PGA of America’s two-year PGA Cup points standings. His incredible run included a runner-up finish at the 2025 PGA Professional Championship followed by a victory at the 2026 PGA Professional Championship at Bandon Dunes, earning him the title of 2026 PGA Professional Champion.
Jesse is one of 10 PGA Professionals representing the United States and is making his PGA Cup debut. The competition will feature foursomes and fourball matches on Friday and Saturday, followed by singles matches on Sunday.
Let’s show Jesse some Riverbend support as he represents our Club and our country on one of golf’s biggest stages. Good luck, Jesse!
