Flashback Friday: Comprised of MTI-Texas students hailing from Brownsville, Harlingen, Weslaco, and Edinburg, the Original MTI-Texas Wolfpack Fight Team arriving at the self-booked hotel a day before competing in an amateur event held at Los Rieles in Monterrey, Nuevo León, México in 2007.

In 2008, Abram Torres and Frank Treviño would be introduced to Vale Tudo and BJJ Veteran Bela De Los Santos, begin their training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and make their professional debuts as MMA competitors.

Team members Abram Torres, Frank Treviño, Mike Valle, and Jeff Treviño all went on to become instructors and open their own schools.

Twenty-three years of teaching Authentic Muay Thai, staying true to who we are, and helping students from all walks of life in Texas and across the Americas achieve their goals with positive results.

Eternal Thanks to the late Grand Master Amnuay Kesbumrung for believing in us, Our MuayThai Rangsit Camp for granting us the honor of officially representing it in the United States, and Our Alumni near and far who have been an integral part of our story.

We are saddened to start a new day to learn that Grand Master Amnuay Kesbumrung, Founder of Muay Thai Institute and Owner of Rangsit International Boxing Stadium passed away earlier today at the age of 91.

For those of us who trained, earned certification, and fought at Rangsit Stadium, he was more than a mentor, he was a Father who included Nak Muay from all over the world as a part of his immediate family.

We send our prayers and deepest condolences to the Kesbumrung and Global MuayThai Rangsit Family in this time of grief. May Grand Master Amnuay Kesbumrung rest in eternal peace.
