The Profile Trail on Grandfather Mountain is back open⛰️

Closed since Hurricane Helene, the trail has officially reopened ahead of schedule thanks to months of hard work from park staff and rangers!

The lower river route remains closed, but the upper route is clear and ready for adventure.

Sugar Mountain’s Teen & Tween Gravity Mountain Bike Camp returns July 10–12 and August 7–9 for riders ages 11–16. Campers spend the day building confidence on the trails with professional instruction, lunch included, and plenty of time to keep riding into the afternoon.

The bike park’s mix of beginner and advanced terrain makes it a fun fit for a wide range of riders, especially kids who already love being outside and on two wheels.
