If you want to make it far in this industry, who you surround yourself with matters. Having a good team you trust behind you can make the difference of being ready, or having to restart. Love the little upgrades I’ve been making. We now have cameras at the barn. They can also be moved so I can put them in the trailer and stalls when I travel. Just another thing just keeping the horses safe and peace of mind for me as I travel and hit the road more. 🙌🏻

When is it time to add speed?

Well, when they start turning harder and sharper. A lot of people would want to drill this horse in that turn. But what this horse needs is:

1. To keep building confidence in his turn as the turn itself was correct.
2. He’s telling me the speed we’re at he’s confident in and ready for more.
3. Over drilling can lead to them questioning and being over reactive in the turn.

Sometimes drilling is needed to fix things. But in this case it’s just Rebel telling me he’s ready for more 🙌🏻
