🏈 Speaking of snow … We are SNOW excited for next weekend’s annual Powerball Golf Tournament! Register your team today and let us know below who you think will win Super Bowl LX!

❄️ We figured it might be tough to find your shots in the snow so the golf course will be closed tomorrow (Saturday, January 31st) and on Sunday, February 1st!

⛳️ Please help us out by staying off the greens and keeping carts on the paths only! This is critical to the protection of the turf, preventing long-term damage, and ensuring the course remains in good condition!

🇺🇸 Did you know Mr. Bufort Blanton, our Director of Golf, served in the military after graduating from The Citadel? On Veterans Day, and every day, we thank him and all the men and women who have courageously served our country! 🇺🇸

Excerpt about Mr. Bufort from “The Tea Farm - Her People and Her Town: Summerville, South Carolina:”

After graduating from The Citadel in 1954, Bufort played professional baseball in Halifax, Nova Scotia, before he entered military service as a U.S. Air Force 2nd Lieutenant. Soon thereafter, he was pilot of a jet bomber with Strategic Air Command.

📣 Get your paddles ready - it’s time to play! Our pickleball courts are officially opening this Friday, October 3rd and if you haven’t heard, they’re a pretty big dill!

🎉 Enjoy open play, refreshments, and music from 3:30-5:30pm with the official ribbon cutting ceremony at 4:00pm!

Golfing like it’s 1925 today!

🇺🇸 Thank you to the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. We strive to honor and remember these heroes today and every day.

⛳️ The golf course will be closed after our last tee time today at 4:30pm to begin aerifying greens. The course will reopen on Wednesday, May 28th!

🏆 Congratulations to Jack Ellis on winning the 52nd “Chick” Miler Invitational. Jack birdied the first playoff hole against a former “Chick” champion, Chris Asbell, to take the title for the second year in a row.

🏌️ We also want to congratulate Jimmy Waring, a five time “Chick” Miler champion, on winning his first Bufort Blanton Senior Division title! What an awesome accomplishment, Jimmy!

🌧️ Although the rain shortened the tournament, we were able to get nine holes in for the championship flight and determine the other flight winners from their two day totals!
