Finally got around to installing the fin box on John's be**er board. It's come along way!
Hollow wood surfboards Frank and I meet in the Air Force and became friends because of surfing and close proximity.
Over the years had talked about owning wooden surfboards. Thanks to the internet we found out how to make
them. Now we are a couple of backyard builders, hacking wood and making alot of sawdust.

Working on John's used Paddle Board. We still have mucho work to do, but at least it's as water tight as a frogs butt.

So today we visited the island.of misfit surfboards. Ding fixing on the boards. One step closer to getting wet.

So we haven't done a lot on the longboard between the weather and whatnot, so another project is needed. Found a cheap paddle board. Really got a good deal. Anyway need to change the deck pad so spend the day peeling it. Also scrapping. Next up sanding and repairing some dings. Some I knew about some others I just discovered.
We would like to wish all of you a Merry Christmas!

I picked up an old (78ish) Dewey Weber Legend from a friend. It was kept on the floor of a marine repair shop and got pretty roughed up. The bottom of the board was pretty bad. You can see the top of the board in the picture with my son with his wooded board. All that's left is some wet sanding and some polish.

Working on our first foamie. John picked up this board for $50 at a yard sale. Time to see what we can do.
