Another big THANK YOU to American Legion Post 95 and Amanda Thomas for organizing our pre race spaghetti dinner at early packet pickup!
It was so fun to visit with everyone early and to have runners connect with one another.

What an amazing day.
We saw you out there today hitting your goals. Some were humbled. Some were healing. Others were learning that their abilities were even greater than they expected.
We love this race because of each and every one of you who are willing to be uncomfortable to know what it feels like to be alive.
We’ve got a lot of pictures to share, stories too. We will send an email to let you all know when results are posted and photos available.

A special shout out to our friend Arch Farrar. From year 1, he has been a top sponsor every single year. His support means more to us than dollars, he is a community member who quietly makes a difference.
Since the reins were handed over ten years ago, I can tell you that nearly all of the sponsors and supporters today have contributed all ten years. We are so grateful for the support, the trust, and the commitment to this race and park.

We have such an amazing community of volunteers excited to see you all on Saturday!

Our Friends of Sloppy Floyd State Park volunteers LOVE this park, this race, and all of you runners! Honestly, they are fascinated with what you all do out there!

Advance Rehab Summerville has served our runners with an aid station for ALL 20 years!!! HUGE thanks to their amazing volunteers and support!

Thank you to Ridge and Valley Adventures for manning Jenkins Gap aid station again this year! They give back to the running community while also putting on some super races! Check them out!

We also want to thank our supportive Park Staff at James H "Sloppy" Floyd State Park, our local Atrium Health EMS (please don’t do anything to need them on race day), our course volunteers, and our community members who just want to be a part of this event!

Putting this race on is truly a team event. And, our prize on race day is watching you all accomplish your goals and having fun doing so. It’s almost time!!
