Lazy Water Walking has been canceled for this week (July 6th-9th) while we work on maintenance repairs in the lazy river. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

Congratulations to our first summer session of Junior Lifeguards! These future lifeguards worked extremely hard to earn their American Red Cross Hands-Only CPR Certification and Junior Lifeguard Certification. Their dedicated instructors taught essential water safety skills, basic rescue techniques, and the fundamentals of CPR and first aid. Great job to these Jr. Lifeguards!

Thank you to Sumter County Emergency Medical Services and Kyle Stuckey for partnering with our lifeguards to provide such an incredible training opportunity! Our lifeguards practiced coordinated responses to incidents such as water rescue, cardiac arrest, spinal injuries, victim removal, and more. This hands-on experience was invaluable and gave our team the chance to learn, practice, and strengthen critical lifesaving skills alongside EMS personnel.

Meet the swim coaches from Sumter Aquatics Center: Leila, Jack & Anthony!

This summer will be Leila's first season coaching for SAC's bronze team. She is currently a rising senior at the University of South Carolina where she is studying biology. The coolest thing Leila has done in the last 12 months is snowboard in Colorado!

Jack has coached for SAC's silver team for 2 years. He is a rising sophomore at the Citadel studying Business and Supply Management and minoring in French. The coolest thing Jack has done in the last 12 months is successfully complete & survive k**b year at the Citadel!

Anthony has coached for SAC's gold team for 2 years. He just earned his Associates in Science Degree and will be transferring to the University of South Carolina Aiken where he will study Psychology in the fall. The coolest thing he has done in the last 12 months is squat 515 pounds!

Come swim with us this summer! Our facility is equipped with a six-swim lane pool, lazy river, waterslide, and wade-pool with beach entrance & mushroom water feature. Other amenities include hot showers, covered pavilion area with fans to cool off, concessions available for purchase & US Coast Guard approved life jackets available at no charge.

Due to ongoing severe weather, Opening Day has been postponed to tomorrow, May 26th. Join us from 12-5 for free admission!
