Rising MLB star Walker Jenkins of the Minnesota Twins represented North Carolina in the 2015 DYB AAA World Series in Lexington, South Carolina.

The Twins selected Walker 5th overall in the 1st round of the 2023 MLB Draft, and on August 28, 2026, he made his Major League debut!
