Spring prep work in the field until our first planting 🌱 and Dad seasoning papas 🥔 with Habanero & Extra Hot on the grill!
Early on we prune the apple trees, lots and lots of weeding, discing a fire break line around the perimeter, mixing in winter cover crop into our pepper field, Field Leveling with rake and some cultivation before we plant.
Our first 4 rows take the longest until we get everything set up correctly. These first rows have 12 trays of 200 plants in each tray with rows 250ft long. Once the planter is set we can get pretty fast where each double row can be planted in 15-20 minutes. Planting these first four rows took about an hour to plant.
