Team Bintang put together a spectacular performance at the 2026 NorCal Open Local Championships (OLC) held on March 13–15 at Bintang Fremont!✨🏸 We are incredibly proud of our athletes’ performance throughout a very high-energy weekend. Our athletes earned an incredible 59 podium finishes (19🥇, 14🥈, 17🥉, 9 Fourth-place)!

Across all age groups, our team showcased elite skill and determination, bringing home an impressive collection of podium finishes! 🏆

Team Bintang showed up in a big way to the 2026 USA Junior International Team Trials Selection Event, proving once again why we are a force to be reckoned with. The selection event, which ran April 3-6, 2026, in Boston, determines the individual and team participants for the Pan Am Junior Championships held in July in Brazil and for the World Junior Championships held in October in Indonesia. 🌟

We are incredibly proud to announce that Bintang had the most players qualified of any club for the third year in a row! In addition, Bintang Badminton was the only club that had players qualify in every single age category from U13 to U19! 

Our athletes brought home 17 total podium finishes plus 3 5th place finishes: 
🥇 4 Gold Medals, 🥈 7 Silver Medals, 🥉 3 Bronze Medals, 4 4th Place Medals, 3 5th place

U13: Michael Yufu Sun (XD 🥇, BD 🥈, BS 🥉)

U15: Mikael Chang (BD 🥇); Sophia Sun (GS 🥉, GD 🥉, XD 5th); Prathik Nemani (XD 5th)

Our Bintang Summer Camp offers a fun and engaging training environment for both youth and high school players! With groups structured by age and skill level, everyone is guaranteed the right balance of challenge and development.

Team Bintang delivered another strong showing at the 2026 YONEX DFW Badminton Lewisville South ORC 💥🏸

Across a competitive weekend (Feb 14–16), our athletes brought home 16 total finishes (7 🥇, 3 🥈, 3 🥉, 3 Fourth-place)!

Highlights of the weekend:
• Thea Yuan — double gold (Girls Singles, Girls Doubles) 🥇🥇
• Michael Yufu Sun — double gold (Mixed Doubles, Boys Doubles) 🥇🥇
• Elina Xiao-En Yang — 2x podium (Girls Singles 🥈, Girls Doubles 🥈)
• Mikael Chang — 2x podium (Boys Doubles 🥇, Mixed Doubles 🥉)
• Bintang Team won gold across 4 of 5 boys doubles’ age categories!

For all our athletes that stepped up, this tournament showcased the depth, growth, and fight across every age group. We are proud of the effort, resilience, and composure shown on court all weekend.
