Dear SUNN parents and Swimmers,

We need your support to make our club a safer and more welcoming environment for all members!

SUNN Swimming proudly endorses USA Swimming’s Safe Sport and Safety Programs, which provide valuable resources to protect athletes and promote a positive experience. You can find these resources on our website under the Safe Sport Tab and at USA Swimming Safe Sport.

Our Goal: Renew our Safe Sport Recognized Club through USA Swimming in August of the year. We renew every two years.

To achieve this, we need your help! One key requirement is completing a short (30 minute) online training course. USA Swimming tracks participation, and the more parents and athletes who complete the training, the closer we get to recognition—and the safer our club becomes.

What You Need to Do

Please take a few minutes to complete the training that helps protect our swimmers and strengthens our community.

To all SUNN families--

As SUNN prepares for the 2026–2027 season starting September 1, all continuing families must complete annual registration and sign updated agreements for their swimmers. This step is mandatory for participation in the new season, including high school swimmers currently taking a break for water polo.

Please note: There will be no practice on this day so all parents are able to attend. We strongly encourage at least one parent from every family to be there! Please no kids in attendance. If you attend the meeting, you will receive 1 hour per family for your Service Required Hours

5:30 PM – 6:15 PM | New Parent Session | Held in the Neighborhood Room
Required for all families new to SUNN
6:30 PM – 7:30 PM | General Meeting | Held in the Ballroom

Required for ALL families (both new and returning).

We will have a Summer Swim Team Intrasquad Block Party this Friday. Block party meets are sanctioned USA Swimming competitions and your swimmer will get times from this meet. Also, to help us celebrate the end of our Summer Swim Team Meet Series, join us for pizza and ice cream immediately following the meet! Please bring your own chair, relax, and celebrate our swimmers' hard work. We can't wait to see you there!

Registration is open and it will close Thursday (7/23) at 3pm. ( this meet is for - Novice, Age Group Bronze, Summer Swim Team, Junior Bronze and Senior Bronze)

Just a quick reminder that we are closed the week of August 3–8. There will be no practices during this time so our coaches can recharge. We will see you back for practice on August 10!

SUNN is going to host evaluation sessions on August 15th and 22nd (Saturdays). The sessions will be held at Sunnyvale Middle School from 10am to 11:30am.
