To our dear friends and community, it is with great sadness that we have to share the news that SBJJ is closing its doors at the end of February 2023.

The academy has faced many difficulties over the years, and unfortunately the decision had to be made to close. We are so grateful for the 5 years we have shared with our students, visitors and BJJ community, and we wish everyone the best as they continue their jiu jitsu journeys. Thank you for all of your support throughout the years.

With the academy closing, we are also seeking to sell the gym equipment. If anyone is interested in mats or any items in the gym, please contact Professor Max at (954) 816-1654 or DM

Great Day @ Comp Net Florida competition

Not everyone who practices this sport competes, and even fewer get the opportunity to get on this kind of stage. Congrats to Marcus on getting on the Fight2Win stage for a second time and representing our academy. Even though he didn’t get the W this time, he also didn’t get subbed and that’s a win in itself! Keep grinding and making us proud.

In 2️⃣ days, Aspen and Marcus are competing at the tournament in Coral Springs! This is Aspen’s first tournament and we are so proud and excited to see her take the huge step to compete! Let’s cheer them on!
