Private swim lessons participant Caleb and swim instructor Kelly had a great time during their lesson this week at the Superior YMCA!
Private swim lessons are a great option for swimmers who benefit from one-on-one instruction. Our qualified instructors tailor each lesson to each swimmer's individual goals and skill level, helping them build confidence, strengthen their skills, and feel more comfortable in the water.

We’re excited to share that the Superior YMCA parking lot improvement project is officially complete!
Thank you for your patience, flexibility, and support throughout each phase of construction. This was a significant undertaking, and we couldn’t have done it without your support along the way.
The completed project features improved traffic flow with safer entry and exit points, a larger, more accessible, and better-organized parking lot with about 25 additional parking spaces, and additional handicapped accessible parking spaces for improved accessibility.
These improvements were made with you in mind—supporting easier access, safer movement, and a more welcoming arrival for every member and visitor. We can’t wait for you to experience the difference.

We are happy to share that the pool will be opening again this Saturday!
Earlier this week, we made the decision to temporarily close our aquatic areas after air quality conditions outside raised concerns about how our air handling systems were performing.
Our maintenance team rose to the challenge. They brought in new filters, inspected every seal, and worked hard to make sure the environment inside our facility was safe, healthy, and ready for our community.
Regular pool hours and scheduling resume this Saturday, July 18th. Come on in!

- Saturday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
- Sunday 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Community members seeking relief from hazardous air quality are welcome to stop by. We will be waiving day pass fees through Sunday, July 19th as part of this effort.

Please also note that the pool area's system brings in outside air, so we've temporarily closed that space.

Air Quality Alert - Superior YMCA:
UPDATE: The pool area will be closed through Friday, July 17th due to poor air quality from area forest fires. The pool area's system brings in outside air, so we've temporarily closed that space. The rest of the facility is able to operate using recycled air, allowing us to maintain indoor air quality while keeping as much of the Y open as possible. The rest of our facility remains open.
Additional closures or cancellations are possible. Please check back for updates.
