I would like to take a moment to give special thanks to EVERYONE that participated in this years vets on the lake. From all the fishermen and women that donate thier boats and gas for this to the shore crew that puts out all the amazing food for for our fish fry that follows without you all this could never happen. Whats really cool is to see how many people do this year after year it's very special to me anyway. Last but not least is to all the vets that show up each year. To see the smiles and laughter for the day, like Jim says leaving all politics and crap behind and just pure fellowship is amazing and refreshing. Plus you veterans need some special recognition for all you men and women have sacrificed for our country over the years as you all are amazing and at times overlooked. This event is such a small token of what you deserve but a neat way for our sportsmen and women to thank you for that sacrifice.
Again thank you, thank you, thank you to all.

Another great crew thanks to Damian and buds for the wonderful morning Sun. So cool to see a group of young people getting together enjoying our great resource. Thanks again guys for the awesome morning of almost a perfect board of rare July salmon. One smarty pants had to catch a trout with 5 mins to go lol.

What a greatday yesterday. Fish were biting early plus dad gave a few back to fish gods then shut right off but we managed a few nice ones. Great crew, great weather just a great day all around. Thanks to Folkerds for the awesome morning looking forward to next year!

Hey yall sorry haven't been posting yey been a goofy spring with weather and such but we are in the water and fishin. This was from last weekends awesome trip. Want to thank Gary and company on the great fun day. Weather was awesome fish were biting till noonish and company was great. Hope ya picked up a few pointers for your own boat Gary. Thanks from Tim and Mel. If you have a day in mind give a jingle weekends are fillin fast.

It's with a terrible heavy heart I'm posting this. Sat nite we had to put down our firstmate Gunner. He was having some seizures about a month ago that seemed to be getting better with meds but started siezing fri nite and they couldn't get it under control with meds and figured he had a brain tumor putting pressure on the rightside. He is already being missed badly by Mel and I as the house seems so empty without his unbelievable love for people. I'd like to thank all that got to fish with him for scratching his ears off and showing him so much attention he loved it so much. I'm sure he's sailing the big pond above thank you for the great times buddy we'll miss you so.
